The keys to a great shave:

Prep: Cleanse the face properly before shaving (see 'Face' section).  Glycerin soaps are excellent as a pre-shave facial soap. A pre-shave lotion or oil can be added for extra protection & improved glide.

Shave:  Apply shaving soap or cream to damp face with a shaving brush.  Work lather with brush to lift whiskers.  Using a sharp razor at a ~30% angle, always shave with the grain on the first pass.  Let the weight of the razor do the work, DO NOT apply pressure.  Reapply water/lather & make a second pass across the grain.  Although not always recommended for those with sensitive skin, if you still feel stubble, a final pass gently against the grain will make it BBS.  Do not try this initially, let you face get acclimated to this type of shaving first.

Tone: We recommend you rinse your face with cold-water after shaving to tighten the pores.  Tone, cool and calm; apply a toner or splash of aftershave.

Moisturize: Hydrate & protect with a moisturizing lotion or non-alcohol post-shave balm. Especially important in cold climates & for those with dry skin.
